Tianjin’s Hexi district provides first-class business environment

Tianjin’s Hexi district shared best practices and its experience of creating a market-oriented  and international first-class business environment at a press conference on Dec 24.

The district has been ranked first in Tianjin business environment evaluation for three consecutive years. The amount of domestic investment it has generated amounted to 12.1 billion yuan ($1.90 billion), ranking first in the central city.

The growth of Hexi’s retail consumer goods is the first in Tianjin, and the growth of import and export value is the first in the central city.

The regional GDP in 2021 will exceed 100 billion yuan, with Hexi maintaining its rank as second place in the city and first in the central city.

Hexi has optimized the handling process. All government services s can be done online.

By improving service efficiency, Hexi implements various measures to support the private economy, the development of small, medium and micro enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households. Relevant departments provided more than 1,500 door-to-door services and reduced taxes and fees of 583 million yuan.

Hexi focused on promoting financial services to better serve the real economy, holding 21 bank-enterprise matching meetings, with over 600 companies receiving 23 billion yuan in credit.

By implementing the upgraded version of "Haihe Talents", Hexi district has given full play to the role of the high-end platform of Tianjin Electronic Information and Big Data Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance, and has introduced a total of 43,000 high-end talents.
