CCPIT Tianjin’s Research Report wins first prize

Assistant minister of Ministry of Commerce Wang Shouwen (2nd L) issued the supreme award to CCPIT Tianjin.
The 2013 Annual Meeting of the International Trade Association of China (ITAC) & International Trade Development Forum was held in Beijing on December 9. CCPIT Tianjin’s Survey on Tianjin enterprises’ investment in foreign countries was awarded first prize among articles solicited in the “2013 China’s Foreign Trade Development & Reform Essay Competition” at the forum.
Mr. Zhang Quansheng, secretary general of CCPIT Tianjin received the award on behalf of CCPIT Tianjin at the ceremony.
Early this year, A Survey on Tianjin enterprises’ investment in foreign countries was written by the Information Department of CCPIT Tianjin based on wide-ranging research and panel discussions. The survey was praised by Tianjin deputy mayor Ren Xuefeng for its objective analysis of and proposals for the development of Tianjin enterprises’ “going global” drive.
The survey ranked first in total score among the 113 articles received and reviewed by ITAC Tianjin Association and was awarded the top prize in the national competition among 221 essays by the International Trade Association of China (ITAC) after three stages of assessments, publicizing on the website of ITAC and the approval by the Ministry of Commerce.
Mr. Wang Shouwen, assistant minister of Ministry of Commerce, spoke at the forum on China’s foreign trade and economic development.
The Survey on Tianjin enterprises’ investment in foreign countries was conducted in the forms of questionnaire, telephone interview and panel discussion by CCPIT Tianjin from August 2012 in order to implement the “going global” programme and promote Tianjin enterprises’ outbound investment.
