Deputy Inspector Zhao meets Minister Counselor of Ethiopia Embassy

CCPIT Tianjin Deputy Inspector Zhao Feng met with a three-member Ethiopia business delegation headed by Mr. Megus Kebede Kassaw, Minister CounselorⅠof Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Beijing, China, in the meeting room of CCPIT Tianjin on November 23.
CCPIT Tianjin Deputy Inspector Zhao Feng met with a three-member Ethiopia business delegation headed by Mr. Megus Kebede Kassaw, Minister CounselorⅠof Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Beijing, China, in the meeting room of CCPIT Tianjin on November 23.
Mr. Zhao briefed the social and economic development of Tianjin to the guests. He said, with preferential policies as Tianjin Pilot Free Trade Zone, the Belt and Road initiative and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei collaborative development, Tianjin enjoys unprecedented opportunities and promising prospects.
CCPIT Tianjin is strengthening partnerships with the nations of Africa and promoting cooperation in economic and trade, Mr. Zhao said. On behalf of CCPIT Tianjin, Mr. Zhao vowed to strengthen communication and cooperation with the Ethiopia embassy in a bid to develop bilateral economic and trade relations.
Mr. Megus Kebede Kassaw made a brief introduction on the developing condition of Ethiopia, and his country’s relation with China in economic and trade. He said Ethiopia is on the way of industrial restructuring, and his country welcomes Chinese enterprises to invest there in sectors of infrastructure, textiles, building materials, drugs, and chemical industries.
Amidst the sound industry foundation of Tianjin, Ethiopia looks forward to join hands with CCPIT Tianjin to assisting two sides’ agricultural trade and production shifting, the Minister Counselor said.
The two sides also exchanged ideas on the organization of 2017 Tianjin-Africa Trade and Investment Promotion in the meeting.
