CCPIT Tianjin Deputy Inspector Zhao Feng met with Ina MARCIULIONYTE, Ambassador of Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the reception room of CCPIT Tianjin on January 12.


Mr. Zhao briefed the social and economic development of Tianjin and functions of CCPIT Tianjin to the Lithuanian guest. He said, with preferential policies as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei collaborative development, the Belt and Road initiative and Tianjin Pilot Free Trade Zone, Tianjin enjoys unprecedented opportunities and promising prospects. Industries in Tianjin such as electronic information, equipment manufacturing, and bio-pharmaceuticals have shown good momentum of growth in recent years, Mr. Zhao said.


CCPIT Tianjin-a major business promotional organization in Tianjin- valued cooperation with its counterparts of nations along the route of “One Belt, One Road” initiative, Mr. Zhao said. He looked forward to holding business visits exchanges and organizing discussing meetings to further boost Tianjin-Central and Eastern European cooperation in economic and trade.  


On behalf of CCPIT Tianjin, Mr. Zhao vowed to strengthen communication and cooperation with Lithuanian counterparts in a bid to expand areas  of cooperation and make new progress in  bilateral economic and trade relations. 

 

Ms. Ina MARCIULIONYTE made a brief introduction on the developing condition of Lithuania, and his country’s competitive industries to Mr. Zhao. Lithuania thinks highly of friendly exchanges with Tianjin, the ambassador said, adding that the purpose of her Tianjin visit was to promote not only cultural exchanges but also business cooperation with Tianjin counterparts.


Mentioning rapid development Industries in Lithuania as IT, life science, engineering, agri-food, and tourism, the Lithuanian ambassador said her embassy together with CCPIT Tianjin will work to build an exchange platform  between businesses of both sides. 


Aiming to promote Lithuanian tourism and agri-food to Tianjin citizens, and find ways to strengthen Tianjin- Lithuanian cooperation in IT and life science, CCPIT Tianjin and Lithuanian embassy decided to co-organize business activities in Tianjin city.
