Mr. Zhao briefed the developing condition of Tianjin’s export-oriented economy to the gueat. He said, with preferential policies as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei collaborative development, and Tianjin Pilot Free Trade Zone, Tianjin makes greater use of its geographical advantage and has made great progress in promoting foreign trade.
Tianjin attaches great importance to the exchanges and cooperation with its ASEAN counterparts on economic and trade, while Thailand is the center of ASEAN nations on logistics, trade and finance, Mr. Zhao said. He mentioned that these offer wider cooperative space for Tianjin and Thailand.The two sides should expand business cooperation in an effective way through exchange of visits, meetings and exhibitions, he added. He also extended Ms. KETSUREE VIJARANAKORN an invitation to attend 2017 PECC fair -a yearly business promotional activity organized by CCPIT Tianjin- in this May.
Ms. KETSUREE VIJARANAKORN made a brief introduction on the Royal Thai Consulate-General and dominating industries of her country. “Products of Thailand as fruit, jewelry and furniture are very competitive but not popular in northern China, because absent further products promotion”, she said.
