The increasingly mature Tianjin cruise market has made more and more cruise companies develop long routes in Tianjin home port. “Travelling around the World in 53 Days – Journey of Seeking Dreams in South Pacific” will be launched from Tianjin home port. This will be the second time for China and island countries in South Pacific to conduct large-scale folk travelling exchange following the “Travelling Cruise around South Pacific in 46 Days” in November 30, 2016.
It is learned that the route, established by Costa and Caissa, will be launched from Tianjin International Cruise Home Port, passing by 15 countries/districts, including Japan, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, Tonga, Cook Islands, French Polynesia, American Samoa, Samoa, Fiji, Vanuatu, Micronesia, American Saipan, Shanghai and Hong Kong. These destinations are not only new locations in the travelling market but also important focuses in the south line of “21st-Century Maritime Silk Road”. The person in charge of Tianjin International Cruise Home Port said that current routes include short ones to Japan in 5 to 7 days and more and more long ones will be established in future.
