International seed expo held in Tianjin

The successful three-day Tianjin International Seed Expo (TISE) closed on Saturday in Xiqing district of the costal metropolis Tianjin.
Open and cooperative, it aims to become the largest international seed industry expo in northern China to facilitate exchanges and communication.
The event has been held for two years. Last year, it gathered1156 firms from 19 countries showcasing 4310 varieties of seeds.
In view of the epidemic still in existence worldwide, this year’s event used the internet to reach out to overseas participants and visitors were involved via live streaming and contact with each other.
The exhibition hall covers an area of 10,000 square meters, and has set up exhibition areas for international, domestic and Tianjin seed companies.
