Tianjin promotes IPR protection

Tianjin has strengthened the protection of intellectual property rights with a combination of methods. According to the Tianjin Intellectual Property Administration, in 2021, the city had 43,400 valid inventions and 97,900 patent licenses.

At present, the Intellectual Property Protection Centers of Tianjin and Binhai New Area have formed a dual protection system which serves nearly 2,000 enterprises. Efforts are made to create a favorable environment so that enterprises can be more innovative. Last year, Tianjin Intellectual Property Administration has promoted reforms to shorten the processing time of related businesses and reduce the burden on enterprises.
